If you are an avid runner who runs 3-4 times a week, it's best to have more than 1 pair of running shoes to avoid injuries and allow the foam on your shoes to return to its normal state. Most runners will incorporate a training plan that involves easy, tempo/threshold/speed and long-running workouts. Here are some recommended training shoes for each type of workout.
Saucony Endorphin Speed 2
This is a great shoe for medium to long-distance run, using a nylon plate providing you with a responsive feel and is also great for tempo/threshold/speed workouts.

Saucony Endorphin Pro 2
Lace-uptempo/threshold/speed workouts! This show has a carbon plate and weighs just over 200 grams.

Asics Nimbus Lite 2
A show with some extra cushioning in the feet specifically for easy and long runs.
Nike Vaporfly Next 2%
Lace-up for race days or tempo/threshold/speed workouts. I suggest preserving the use of this shoe for race days but don't forget to wear them before the big race! This shoe has a carbon plate and is the lightest shoe on the market, weighing in just over 180 grams!
